A married couple was in a terrible accident where the man's face was severely burned.  The doctor told the husband that they couldn't graft any skin from his body   Because he was too skinny.   So the wife offered to donate some of her own skin.  However, the only skin on her bodyThat the doctor felt was suitable would have to come from her buttocks.

Worst Day at the Office

Rob is a commercial saturation diver for Global Divers in Louisiana. He performs underwater repairs on offshore drilling rigs. Below is an E-mail he sent to his sister. She then sent it to radio station 103.2 on FM dial in Ft. Wayne, Indiana , who was sponsoring a worst job experience contest. Needless to say, she won.

Hi Sue,

Just another note from your bottom-dwelling brother. Last week I had a bad day at the office.. I know you've been feeling down lately at work, so I thought I would share my dilemma with you to make you realize it's not so bad after all..

Before I can tell you what happened to me, I first must bore you with a few technicalities of my job. As you know, my office lies at the bottom of the sea. I wear a suit to the office. It's a wet suit. This time of year the water is quite cool. So what we do to keep warm is this: We have a diesel powered industrial 20 water heater. This $20,000 piece of equipment sucks the water out of the sea. It heats it to a delightful temperature.! It then pumps it down to the diver through a garden hose, which is taped to the air hose. Now this sounds like a really good plan, and I've used it several times with no complaints.

What I do, when I get to the bottom and start working, is take the hose and stuff it down the back of my wet suit. This floods my whole suit with warm water. It's like working in a Jacuzzi . Everything was going well until all of a sudden, my rear end started to itch. So, of course, I scratched it. This only made things worse. Within a few seconds it started to burn.

Great Gifts for the High School or College Graduate

Posted by Olan Chancy in Untagged

We are approaching that time of year when the mail box will be full of announcements from the sons and daughters of friends, relatives and acquaintances announcing the upcoming graduation of a young adult from high school or college.

Obviously a little green is always a welcome gift, as no fledgling adult is ever fully prepared for how expensive life really is. But there is a downside to giving money – because money doesn’t build any memories. That check you give today may help buy some towels for the new place, but that gesture is going to be forgotten. No one remembers a check – unless it has an unforgettable number of zeros on it.

Eagles Trivia

Eagles is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California during the early 1970s. The group chose the name Eagles as a nod to The Byrds (Leadon had been in Dillard & Clark with former Byrds singer Gene Clark and in The Flying Burrito Brothers with former Byrds Gram Parsons, Chris Hillman, and Michael Clarke). Comedian Steve Martin records in his autobiography, Born Standing Up, that Frey was very particular that the name was Eagles and not The Eagles.

In one of my favorite Sherlock Holmes stories, the esteemed detective had deduced that the villain was an American. But, all the suspects were purporting to be British. How to figure out which one was lying?

As a child of the 80's, I grew up used to paying a premium for music albums, especially after CDs came on the scene. Back then, who was on top of the music biz was measured by one metric - record sales.

The Magic is in the Arena

My boy Alexander is seven, and a huge sports fan. He's been to Gator games, Braves games, high school football games, heck I even took him to the Scottish Games. Finally, a week back, I took him to his first Orlando Magic game. The Magic were taking on the Charlotte Bobcats on a Tuesday night.

I'd been scoping tickets out for awhile, watching SeeMySeat.com for a good deal to show up. I wanted to go to a basketball game during the week, and wanted to pay no more than $10.00 a ticket. Believe it or not, I was able to score tickets with good seats in that price range.
